What is it
**********
Request Bulletin reads the EZROM.REQ file generated by Mike Robinson's
EZRom program and writes an ASCII and ANSI Bulletin notifying users
that the files they have requested are ready for download.
This version of the Ezrom Request Bulletin was written at the
request of a SysOp that runs an adult BBS. He felt that it was
not a good idea to have the files descriptions in the bulletin.
Set Up
******
This program is not crippled in anyway. The setup is quite simple.
You make a BULLETIN.CFG file as follows :
C:\TRIBBS\DISPLAY\BULLET10.BBS
C:\TRIBBS\DISPLAY\BULLET10.ANS
;Line 1 : The path and name for your non color ASCII Bulletin.
;Line 2 : The path and name for your color ANSI Bulletin.
;The BULLETIN.CFG file is included modify it for your needs.
Save this file and place it and the AREQBULL.EXE file in the same
directory as EZROM.REQ.
You may choose to run this program once a day as an event or from the
command line anytime you choose. Just change into the EZROM directory
and type AREQBULL.
I run it from the same batch file that I use to call the EZRom Door. By
doing this the bulletins stay current at all times.
I also run the program each day after I have filled the files request
for the day.
Here is my .BAT file that I use to call EZRom :
CD C:\TRIBBS\DOORS\EZROM
EZROM C:\TRIBBS\DOOR.SYS C:\TRIBBS\DOORS\EZROM\EZROM.MAS
AREQBULL ;Call the bulletin generator
CD\TRIBBS
BOARD ;Reload my BBS
